What Is QUM?

Qum is Pawdaz’s new plant-based cat litter — flushable, dust-free, odorless, clumping, and non-tracking.
Unlike mineral-based litters, Qum leaves no dust, making it ideal for sensitive cats.

Design, Composition & Production

Each ingredient in Qum was carefully selected by Veterinarian Berk Güneş to ensure complete safety for animals.
The proportions were optimized and processed into granules of the right size and shape, then packaged in its custom Pawdaz design under ideal storage conditions.

Its ingredients are 100% plant-based and do not clog toilets unless large amounts are flushed all at once.

How To Use

1. Fill the litter box with 2.3–2.7 in (6–7 cm) of Qum.

2. For one cat, replace the entire litter every 12–15 days, depending on use.

3. Scoop out clumped waste daily or every other day using a wide-mesh scoop.

Transitioning to Qum

When switching from an old litter to Qum, keep everything else the same — the same box, room, and placement. Only the litter should change.

Ideal Transition:

• Start by filling the box with Qum up to 6–7 cm.

• Add 20–30% of your old litter on top.
  This way, the environment feels familiar, helping your cat adapt easily.

Cats that are used to changing litter brands may not need any transition period.
For kittens, Qum’s soft, dust-free texture makes it an excellent first litter choice.

For cats resistant to change, use a gradual transition over five litter replacements:

During this process, always add the old litter on top so your cat feels comfortable using the box.
